Torrent Locations for 9-CURRENT-20110701 Testing Snapshot

John R Davis Jr. has started some torrents to speed up the download of the latest testing snapshot. If you use a torrent, please leave your torrent program open so that it can seed the file. When you seed, it speeds up the download of that file for everyone else. Note that you have permission to seed these files as they are freely available under the BSD license.

I’m *very* curious about the upcoming PC-BSD 9. I have great expectations in regard of stability and usability. And the Ubuntu Unity disaster has dramatically increased my feeling that PC-BSD will fit my needs much better.

PC BSD Team: Your hard work is much appreciated! Let’s focus on usability and not on eye-candy.

Errr…. could you add tracker information in these torrents?

The DVD x64 torrent I chose does not have any tracker. Is this intentional? I will manually add openbittorrent and publicbt trackers to see what happens. I am currently running PC-BSD 8.2 x64 desktop as a file-server with ZFS and software raid-10 pool, sharing files via Samba (smbd). I’m looking forward to using version 9.0!
