In the past, I have also handed out copies of OpenDisk (http://www.theopendisc.com/) as it is a good way to introduce Windows users to open source software. There is a similar CD for Mac users at http://www.freesmug.org/fscd.

What other software packages are the teams using? Are there official software packages they all use or is it just open source pot luck? I cant find that info in the start guide.
