Two Reviews of PC-BSD 9.1
There have been two reviews of the upcoming PC-BSD 9.1 release in the past few days.
The first is an interview with Allan Jude during the Linux Action Show. Allan provides an overview of PC-BSD 9.1, including highlights of the new capabilities of Warden. The video of the show is here and Allan’s segment starts around minute 38:50.
Michael Dexter has posted his review From Crap to Critical on his Call for Testing blog.

Thanks Dru for posting these review notices. The reviews are pretty accurate and have good info. I definitely need to learn more about the Warden and other cool capabilities of PC-BSD for my work.
Just my opinion but I believe that PC-BSD can become the most popular OS around the world within a couple more years, if it continues to progress as well as it has been doing.
I think you’re right – PC-BSD is the easiest BSD for novices to use, and has really attractive security features for professionals.
Yep and it’s also for regular computer users’ day to day personal computing needs such as email, internet browsing, FTP, instant messaging, multi-media, games and many other things.
If I was in charge of Windows and knew about PC-BSD, I’d be shaking in my boots.
