SouthEast LinuxFest will be held at the Blake Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina from Friday June 7 to Sunday June 9. Registration is required, but free, for this event.

There will be a BSD booth in the Expo area, all three days. Several members of the PC-BSD team will be giving out PC-BSD DVDs, FreeNAS CDs, and other cool swag, as well as accepting donations to the FreeBSD Foundation.

Kris Moore will present “Automating the deployment of FreeBSD & PC-BSD systems” at 16:00 on June 7. Dru Lavigne will present “A Sneak Peek at FreeNAS 9.1″ at 14:45 on June 8. Ken Moore will present “Getting Started with PC-BSD” at 14:45 on June 9.

The BSDA certification exam will be held at 11:00 on June 9. The cost for the exam is $75.

Several members of the PC-BSD team will be at Texas LinuxFest, to be held at the AT&T Conference Center in Austin, Texas from Friday May 31 to Saturday June 1. Registration is required for this event at a cost of $25 or $55.

There will be a BSD booth in the Expo (booth #21) on June 1 where we’ll be giving out PC-BSD DVDs, FreeNAS CDs and other cool swag. We can also accept donations to the FreeBSD Foundation.

Kris Moore will present “Automating the deployment of FreeBSD & PC-BSD® systems” at 11:25 on June 1. Dru Lavigne will present “TrueOS and Warden: Easy to Deploy FreeBSD Servers” at 13:30 on June 1.

The BSDA certification exam will be held at 13:00 on May 31. The cost for the exam is $75.

LinuxFest NorthWest will be held April 27-28 at Bellingham Technical College in Bellingham, WA. This event is free to attend.

We’ll be giving out cool swag, PC-BSD DVDs, and FreeNAS CDs at the FreeBSD booth in the expo area. If you are attending the event, drop by and say hi.

NorthEast LinuxFest will be held March 16-17 at the Science Center at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. Registration is free for this event.

There will be a FreeBSD booth in the exhibition area of SCALE, to be held at the Hilton LAX in Los Angeles, CA. Exhibition hours are Saturday, February 23 from 10:00–17:30 p.m and Sunday, February 24 from 10:00–16:00. Registration is required for this event, with a nominal fee for the expo area and a slightly higher fee for the entire conference.

Kris Moore will give a presentation on Network Booting and Deployment of FreeBSD and PC-BSD at 15:00 on Sunday.

User Group Connect is a relaxed one day unconference for meeting and interacting with the many technical User Groups in Ottawa. The event runs on Saturday, February 9 from 10:00-17:00 at Shopify in the Byward Market.

There will be a FreeBSD booth which will be giving away swag, PC-BSD 9.1 DVDs, FreeNAS 8.3 CDs, and brochures. If you’re in the Ottawa area, drop by and visit at this free event.

There will be a FreeBSD booth in the exhibition area of LISA, to be held at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina in San Diego, CA. Exhibition hours are Wednesday, December 12 from 12:00–19:00 p.m and Thursday, December 13 from 9:30–14:00. Registration is required for this event, but is free for the exhibition area.

MeetBSD California takes place this upcoming weekend, November 3-4 at Yahoo! in Santa Clara, CA. Kris Moore will be presenting “The Warden® – FreeBSD and Linux Jail Management” on November 3 and several members of the PC-BSD team will also be attending the conference.

This event requires registration ($75USD).

Several members of the PC-BSD team will be at EuroBSDCon to be held in Warsaw, Poland on October 20-21. There will be a booth in the expo area which will hand out PC-BSD 9.1-RC1 DVDs as well as cool swag.

Kris Moore will present “The Warden – FreeBSD and Linux Jail Management” at 16:40 on Saturday the 20th.

Yuri Momotiuk will give a presentation “Development Environment of PC-BSD” on Saturday, September 24 at KyivBSD in Kyiv, Ukraine. Yuri developed the PC-BSD Control Panel and the GDM Configuration utility and is working on a bug reporting tool for PC-BSD 9.2. The presentation will be in Russian.
