New PBI: OpenJDK

The following PBI is now available through Software Manager:

OpenJDK: OpenJDK is an open-source implementation of the Java Platform, Standard Edition. Install this PBI if you wish to access Java applications from within your web browser.

There were reports that earlier versions of OpenJDK caused firefox to crash which is the reason why a PBI was not available before. This seems to be fixed–please let us know if the PBI causes any problems with your browser.

Yes, I can confirm that neither Java PBI currently works with the Opera PBI–even when you configure the paths to the plugin in Opera. Not sure what the deal with Opera is… If anyone can get it to work, please post your how-to.
